If transports facilitate dwarf's mobility, traps do the opposite for other creatures: delaying their rush, worsening their path or even completely blocking their ability to move.
Traps are all placeable constructions and so, found in game on the third tab of the "Craft" menu (ladder icon).
With the exception of the trap and the farm fence, all traps are designed for hostile creatures.
