Flora and fauna[edit source]

Good day,

I think that the main page should have 2 new topics: Flora and Fauna.

Flora links to trees, bushes, shrubs, wheat, etc. Fauna links to every animal available in the game.

On a more detailed note, the very first item page for Apples is quite a mess. It has several grammar issues, the fact that apples will heal a dwarf is not prominently featured, plus the article insinuates that Cones will also heal a dwarf.

Is anyone still working on this Wiki?

A lot to do[edit source]

Hi

I don't know if there's still people around here to work on this wiki, but I will try my best to do some part of it.

There's a lot to do, starting with updating everything to the current game version (mostly images) and add more about the last world (level 3). The old tech tree is no longer available in the game i suppose, but there is still information about it on item template (it's a bit confusing for a new player like i was). And we definitely need more guides.

It could be nice to have some sum up pages for weapons, armors, etc. With a big table to compare easily. I will try something if I have time. I also started to add "uses" on each craftable material but i'm far from having finished. Some help here could be nice :)

One last thing, the main page could be seriously improved I think... dunno exactly how but reducing the news section could be a start...

"The" or "the"[edit source]

Hi,

I just saw a redirect happening on a link on the main page and changed Craft the World to Craft The World. Then I thought I'd check if that has to be done to any other page, using the "What links here" function. As far as I can tell (my Wiki experience is next to none yet, just spend a few hours familiarizing myself with Wiki), all pages except the main page link to the redirecting one ("the"). That made me think for a moment and look around a little bit.

In all the images, Craft the World has a "the", e.g. in the main menu of the game itself, but e.g. on Steam the games name has a "The". So, before I change every link manually, what should it be, "The" or "the"?

Personally I prefer the lower case one ("the").

With kind regards

Hi, If I would have to choose I would choose "the" because I prefer it and because that's the way it is written in the official logo. But it may be the only place where you can found it with "the" instead of "The"... so... Doomshine42 (talk) 22:32, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Added question[edit source]

Hi

when I posted my question abut the/The on the page instead of the discussion tab, I had no idea at all about the discussion tab, but now that I've run into it, I'd have a question: Would it have been better to post this question here? And while I'm already at asking questions, here's another one: Once the issues mentioned by Bushdoctor are handeled, is it common practice to remove his post or move it to some archive or whatever?

With kind regards

Is there anyone here?[edit source]

Seems this wiki have not many editors anymore. Well for the moment, I'm here :) I'll try to go on with the sugestions above. SapadorCastelo (talk) 15:51, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Furniture and armor[edit source]

Couple of things on the front page: Furnitures -> Furniture and Armors -> Armor. Both words are "uncountable nouns" (or "piece/group words"). − Niightblade (talk) 02:22, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

I've fixed "Furniture", but "Armors" is not necessarily incorrect. Game widow (talk) 10:29, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
Niightblade (talk) 10:53, 19 July 2019 (UTC) > In this context (wearable items) it's just "armor". Multiples become "sets of armor" or "pieces of armor". This is also consistent with in-game text.
