|Place several fences one by one until a farmhouse appears.
|Price per Unit
Farming fences can be crafted on a workbench if "farming" is unlocked on the tech tree or can be bought for 4 gold coins per fence at the Goblin Shop.
Placing 5 fences horizontally next to each other creates a farmhouse, placing additional fences will expand the size of the farm so more animals can be held in it.
Animals caught by trap can be stored in the farm. A pair of animals will breed additional ones if left in the farm.
These animals can be sheared for their wool by clicking on them and selecting "shear". This action requires scissors, that can also be crafted once farming is unlocked.
These animals will produce eggs and feathers with a regular frequency if left in the farm, requiring no other action than collecting the resources from the ground around the farm. There is though a condition for them to produce these materials: the floor under the fences must be the soft earth, like the one placed by dwarfs.
