Acquiring[edit | edit source]

Hunting[edit | edit source]

It can be obtained by hunting:
Hen icon.png hens;
Ice Bird icon.png ice birds;
Blue Bird icon.png blue birds or
Flying Octopus icon.png flying octopuses...
Which will drop two feathers each.

Farming[edit | edit source]

These same creatures can be trapped and kept in a farm so they can drop one feather from time to time. Once in a farm they will reproduce, which allows dwarfs to slaughter them in a low frequence without the risk of running out them.

Killing[edit | edit source]

Some creatures have a chance of dropping feathers when killed:
Frostling icon.png frostlings, 20% chance to drop 1;
Frostling Leader icon.png frostling leaders, 20% chance to drop 1, and
Goblin Leader icon.png goblin leaders, with 25% chance to drop 3 feathers.

Disassembling[edit | edit source]

There is also a good chance (around 66%) of getting a feather by disassembling a feathered hat.
