Mad Rider[1] is a dangerous[2] hostile creature that can spawn in all worlds over the ground through monsters portals in multiplayer games.
Riding dwarfs[ | ]
Besides its melee assault, a mad rider has a special attack: jump over, sit on dwarf's shoulders and start biting his head. The dwarf under this situation cannot defend himself and will start running aimlessly. The mad rider will leave him if attacked by other dwarfs.
More than one mad rider can "ride" the same dwarf at the same time.
A dwarf subdued by a mad rider does not move slower, his normal speed is not changed if carrying the monster.
Mobility[ | ]
It can not climb walls, but can jump one block at a time, also taking advantage of skeletons in a shield stair position to climb higher cliffs.
